Divine fire will fall upon cities

We are living in the days of Noah
A few days before the 1906 earthquake in San Francisco, Ellen White predicted the deadly event which killed over 900 people. She said the earthquake would hit the city because of the great sinfulness found there. Today, we have hundreds or thousands of cities around the world that have turned their back on God. They are about to be hit with judgments from God in the form of fire from the sky. Why? Mankind is not following the Law of God and His written word, the Bible. We are living in days similar to Sodom and Gomorrah and the days of Noah.
Below are comments or prophetic statements about what will happen in the future. These statements are based upon visions she received from God. God has sent these messages of warning for us to consider.
“Last Friday morning, just before I awoke, a very impressive scene was presented before me. I seemed to awake from sleep, but was not in my home. From the windows I could behold a terrible conflagration. Great balls of fire were falling upon houses, and from these balls fiery arrows were flying in every direction. It was impossible to check the fires that were kindled, and many places were being destroyed. The terror of the people was indescribable. After a time I awoke and found myself at home.” Letter 278, 1906.
“Transgression has almost reached its limit. Confusion fills the world, and a great terror is soon to come upon human beings. The end is very near. We who know the truth should be preparing for what is soon to break upon the world as an overwhelming surprise.” —Testimonies for the Church 8:28 (1904).
1906 “The Lord calls for His people to locate away from the cities, for in such an hour as ye think not, fire and brimstone will be rained from heaven upon these cities. Proportionate to their sins will be their visitation. When one city is destroyed, let not our people regard this matter as a light affair and build themselves homes in that same destroyed city.” Letter 158
Specific cities were shown to be hit by this Divine fire, such as Nashville, New York, and Chicago, although there will be hundreds or a thousand others also hit:
“When I was at Nashville, I had been speaking to the people, and in the night season, there was an immense ball of fire that came right from heaven and settled in Nashville. There were flames going out like arrows from that ball; houses were being consumed; houses were tottering and falling. Some of our people [Seventh-

“We are living amid the perils of the last days. The wrath of God is preparing to come upon all the cities—not all at once but one after another. And if the terrible punishment in one city does not cause the inhabitants of other cities to be afraid and seek repentance, their time will come. When the Lord ariseth to shake terribly the earth, He will not cease until His work in punishment is done. The destruction will begin in certain places, and the destruction of life will be sudden and but few will escape. There is not to be given one encouraging thought that the gospel of Jesus Christ will be accepted by the large majority of men prior to His coming again the second time with power and great glory. I am instructed by revelation to say that most solemn and overwhelming judgments are determined upon all people who have the light before them in the Word of God, [but who do not follow it].” Ms233-
“The wrath of God will come upon all cities, upon dwellings, upon large buildings, so suddenly that they who have the slightest intimation have no safety in dallying at all. They are to flee at once.” Ms233-
1910 "The time is near when large cities will be swept away, and all should be warned of these coming judgments." Evangelism p29
“O that God's people had a sense of the impending destruction of thousands of cities, now almost given to idolatry.”-
"How comes the word that I have declared that New York is to be swept away by a tidal wave? This I have never said. I have said, as I looked at the great buildings going up there, story after story, 'What terrible scenes will take place when the Lord shall arise to shake terribly the earth! Then the words of Rev. 18:1-
“And yet, notwithstanding the evidence God has given in our cities, as in Chicago, of how quickly by one touch of God that city, and New York City as well, would become unsightly ruins, those who know the truth are preparing to do some great thing, while souls are perishing and go beyond their reach.” Ms233-
